Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested Thursday in Franklin, Tennessee, following a minor crash. Cutler, 41, faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. Police responded to the scene after Cutler rear-ended another vehicle and allegedly offered $2,000 to avoid police involvement.
Officers noted signs of impairment, including slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, and Cutler refused a sobriety test. A search of his truck uncovered a rifle and a loaded handgun. Cutler was booked and released on a $5,000 bond with the condition that he does not drive under the influence or without an ignition interlock device.
Cutler, a 12-season NFL veteran, is best known for his time with the Chicago Bears and his reality TV appearances with ex-wife Kristin Cavallari on Very Cavallari.
